150 euro cam vs DVX100 + sgpro

from a director POV: Yes.. agree with you..

from a cinematographer POV: No..

It was fun to see though.
How extremely sweet the dvx+sgpro combo is..
:P

Did you colorcorrect at all?

Backing that up as well,
the sgpro combo is much sweeter and helps me escape from the "real life".

for contrast and colouring, i actually prefer the cheap dv cam :)

i have shot a lot of stuff with adapters and without. for a static shot like this, no one can tell the difference. you could probably have shot this on 70mm and it'd still look the same.... it's only when you get some movement, whether it be actors moving or the camera or both, does it actually make a difference.

at least that's what i've found.

Doesn't matter if the shot is dynamic or not. An adapter allows u to use longer lenses without changeing the FOV. This results in shallower DOF which is apparent in dynamic and static shots...
