Best Buy versus Circuit City

[bosindy]

just bought a tv off Amazon, it was much cheaper than both CC and BB

Who else here hasn't ever gotten one of those rebates? Is it really a scam?

Our store in KC is already closed.

Chip - which store? (I'm a KC native.)

The location across from Oak Park Mall.

Both of my local CCs are closing so I guess it's moot point around here.

got a sick 48" Samsung Plasma for 800 bucks at CC last november. best buy is good for a few things, but i always go to Fry's for misc items for computers.

I buy everything from CC. They move on prices. I got a LG 50" plasma for 900.00 at BB it was $2500.00. but now CC is going under so I will shop Online. BB is a fun place to visit but I rarely spend my money there.

i bought a video camera from circuit city. When i opened the box it was full of cans. perfectly placed cans like "chicken of the sea", some green beans, and red beans (green giant)
i took it back, and they said "why are u giving us a bunch of cans"

long story shot - police, suing CC, 9 months in court, etc

i won the case, and will never shop at circuit city. i hate them with a passion and am glad to here they filed for bankruptcy. Hopefully they disappear.

Holy Moses that is an incredible story! no wonder they fold first instead of the other ones
