camera mounts are for woosies

I don't like em.
not that I like 6k worth of dammage on my daily driver.
I find the camera gives me an excuse when I crash.
lol

about 6k not counting matching the custom paint. Still too soon to tell.
Bent the rear axel, fried an A arm and trashed a tie rod.
oh and killed two discontinued rims.

Expensive saturday but ya gotta pay to play.

I'll get sponsors to fix er up. Good practice for selling a show in my eyes.

Dude are you implying that we only see the undamaged side of the car (until after the crash in the edit) and that we never actually see him driving through the drift... and that this may have been a fun video to come up with after the fact... and that it might be somebody else's car?

What are you saying? Oh... that the real money shot is missing? The POV at impact (or pre-impact) when the cam gets rocked to the floorboards? Yeah, that probably should have made the edit. :)

I think he wanted me to have a better interior shot while I was trying to save the car.
sorry to let ya down.
Good news is the car is running fine again. Still needs body work and some ghost-flame matching but runs tip top after a new tie rod and another four wheel alignment. Pulling from all show sponsors to get er back on the track and it looks like it'll take more time than money now.

Not a bad way to spend a saturday, minus the ding. I'll be out there again.

hey Matt, if you wanna shoot a second camera next time I'm at gateway Raceway, lemme know. The more the marrier. I'm out there at least once a month or so.
