Did you guys hear Brit Hume when he announced that Ohio went to Obama. He sounded like his cat died.
 
Ugh - people are screaming here in Ithaca. Fireworks are going off. People are screaming. And I want to go to bed...

I am happy it's over. I just wish people would shut up. haha
 
For what it's worth BBC did as well. And seriously - a whole series of car alarms just started going off.

Matt longs for bed. Election results and resulting college cheering are not conducive to me getting sleep. I guess it's history...
 
It's very quiet in my neighborhood here in California. Probably because Placer County is quite conservative. I wonder if Obama prefers the Panasonic HVX200a, or the Sony EX1? Time will tell.
 
Great speech by McCain... whether you voted for him or not, the guy's a class act... excited to see what the next four years hold.
 
It's absolutely bananas over here in Chi-town! Horns and all. I was online and read about it in a UK newspaper. Irony. I'm calling and receiving calls from all my friends.

Because you need 270 Electoral votes to win. Obama already has 338 vs. Mc Cain's 152 as of 1AM Eastern. Not enough Electoral votes left for McCain to reach 270.
