What camera system is HBO's "24/7" series shot on?

They do a nice job with the boxing coverage and now NHL as well. Looks to be the same look as HBO's NFL training camp series as well. Anyone have any insight?

I'm guessing that it's shot with the same camera package as Hard Knocks, which was about the Jets this year. If so, they were shooting on the F900 - a 2/3" HDCAM (tape) ENG camera. It's an industry workhorse, and produces really great imagery. I saw the crews this August at the preseason Jets vs. Eagles game I worked on.

I worked on a television show with lots of those guys... they were shooting F900's if I recall. Maybe Varicams as well? I didn't talk to them about it too much.

Believe it or not many episodes were shoot on a Panasonic HVX200

Moe, really, hvx200?? for a whole epsisode? I could see maybe a few specialized shots but would be surprised to learn a whole episode. tell me more!

That doesn't surprise me at all. It is a great camera, even for its age.

4:2:2 color space, Full HD, with the dated but functional interlaced-progressive pulldown.

The documentary TV show I've been working on shoots HVX200 in the studio and HMC150 in the field, and the feature I'm lighting next week is on the HVX200 with the Letus and Zeiss lenses.

It's a workhorse, too, in its own right. And a lot cheaper than Varicams or F900s.

They also used the GoPro HD. Of course it was used mostly for the POV shots from the pucks POV.
