It was used in his Herofest short , Our Here The...

The gun metal parts came painted blue in order to be legally shipped across the border into Canada. He used a cheap spray can to paint those parts black.
It had incredible detail and weighed several pounds.
The one I saw at the bluegun site looks comparable but that's all I can say without actually having seen one in person from them.

Raptor, you were able to have it shipped across the Canadian border?? What shipper did you use? How did it go with customs? I'm asking because the whole border/shipping issue is a major part of what is keeping me from even trying some things I'd like to try (film-wise).

Sage..

I'll send a PM so you can talk to my brother about specific details as he is the one that handled it .

There is no problem getting those things shipped across the border. Ian said that the guy at Maxsell was used to dealing with the various laws and knew how to ship legally. He did and does, so no problem. Ian has bought two, the tommygun, a muscket type deal and is buying another.

Anyways, the general public can call the owner of the webiste for details but it's all legal, believe me.

//Ian said "Everything had to be painted BLUE except the handle and they put on the box Stage PROP for customs ." I'm not sure how they handle the metal guns though. Maybe the same way. You'd have to ask them.
