uploading 35mm adapter footage on Vimeo - running into problem - help anyone?

I uploaded a 57MB .mov video on Vimeo (my first time uploading on that site) and upload seemed to go lighting fast until it reached the 99% on the upload bar mark... It has been sitting at 99% for the past hour.

By now I am concluding something went wrong. No way should it take that long to complete the process... Is this a usual glitch?

The same problem has happened to me if my computer went to sleep or something like that.

I've had the same thing happen to me at various percentages of completion on Vimeo. I usually just cancel the upload and start from scratch; that usually clears everything up.

Faith, this is a known problem right now and Vimeo is hoping to have it resolved by the end of this week. If you are using Flash 10, you have to uninstall it and install version 9. You are better off just waiting a few more days and you won't have to deal with all of this nuisance.

I see . This is my first time going on there. I had signed up a while back but actualy never used it. Had to hunt down my password LOL could not remember what it was... Now that I am on again, I am going to be able to check these videos you shared with me over the last few weeks. i coudl not access them before cause I could not log in (forgot password LOL)...
