New EX1 short with BREVIS XL

yeah I zoomed in too much. You can't zoom into the ground glass as much as you want like you can with the Letus. There is an optimum zoom which I hadn't worked out yet. Much better stuff to come. but I was pleased with the end results.

I operated like it was the Letus Extreme and only realised the difference when I got back to the edit suite, I still wanted to post it as I really liked the shots. I just need to adjust my XY, get it more centered and zoom in no more than z77-80 and the edge sharpness will be spot on.
 
Looks absolutely awesome- *hate* that song though. It worked in Juno but it does bug. Sorry, honesty. :)

Phil, you should be able to adjust XY and be in the Z72-Z74 range :-) That's about where you should be to also maintain the full FOV of your 35mm SLR glass. The footage looked great....lot's of "pop" there from the new element and it's increased diffusion. I always find the longer lens shots benefit the most from this aspect of the new element.

Your Proteus rails are likely the most world traveled set in existence...Canada, UK, and Siberia in one month?
