Hi,
I have been trying to figure this out for the longest time, yet cannot seem to find a solution. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide me with a solution. Here is the problem:
I would like to set a video event to slow-motion. I am not using a velocity envelope, but using CTRL/Drag to "stretch" the event, yet for some unknown reason the clip can only be stretched so-far before it stops. Why? Where is this limit set and why? I need to stretch it FURTHER, but can seem to find no way to get beyond this "cap". Could someone please point me in the right direction. I simply do not understand WHY this limitation exits, and it appears to vary depending on the length of the video event. The shorter the event, the less it can be CTRL/Stretched. Why?
Please see this video clip which shows exactly what I am trying to do:

I hope that helps.
Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able assist me. I'm not looking for a workaround or alternate way to accomplish the slow motion. I want to know why this technique fails. Everywhere I have read up on creating slow motion, this is the technique descrived, yet NOBODY addresses this limit and how to overcome it.
