Free Noise reduction tool for Premiere?

Hi

Are you aware of any free plug-in for reducing noise within Premiere Pro CS3?

It's a never ending investment. I bought PP CS3, Magic Bullet, LiveType.. and now i don't want to spend $99 for Neat Video.

Any suggestions? Any techniques? Any free tools?

What kind of noise? Video noise or audio noise?

Keep in mind that anything you use will be a band-aid at best; what you need to do is shoot so that you have as little noise as possible. That means lots of light in video.

I'm referring to video noise. All the shots were outdoors and the mistake we made was leaving HVX wide open since we used the M2 adaptor.

Perhaps give after effects' remove grain effect a go - might go some way to getting rid of a little bit of noise, it's no neat video, but it's free

How do i import the footage/sequence to AE?

I opened AE and did import of the project file... and it gives me an error.

Any suggestions?

Try importing the video file into AE, then doing noise reduction, then importing the AE comp into Premiere.

Am i importing the rendered sequence or the PP CS3 project file itself?

I have fond that with poorly lit footage, I can ad some slight lighting effects and then when exporting in Adobe Media Encoder use the video noise reduction filter and get really clean results. Be careful though a little reduction even ads considerable time to the rendering... Best to make sure your source footage is captured correctly though, it saves alot of headaches.
