You are officially stuck with me! (passed my citizen's test!)

So I can LOSE MY citizenship? I actually don't know if that's possible.

Old test or the new one? (My wife will be taking it one of these days...but we haven't seen a study guide for the new version yet).

They are really the same test as far as I saw. I am quite sure that all they changed was the wording of the answers and questions... just a little updating to be more accurate/politically correct and so on. BTW, with a little studying it is a very easy test to ace.

If she hasn't started her process then she'll probably do the new one cause I think the date for the switch just passed.

Anyone test themselves yet? Come on, post your grades!!!
(I know it isn't fair cause I actually studied)

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU GUYS!
It means a lot, even if we don't know each other in person.
Everyone have a Samuel Adams for me this coming weekend!

guess we won't be having Coronas anymore, lol

Wow dude, I didn't know you weren't a citizen... congrats on getting that!

I'd buy you a beer but I think I might be about to get laid off from work... :undecided

I took the online test it isn't difficult, just by watching films you learn some this, so if you just study a bit you can get 100%.....

BTW, Congratulations, now you really are (oficially) who you want to be.

hehehe I was reviewing all the questions and I found this two, one after the other.

first was, how many states are in the union?

50

and the next was how many senators are in the congress?

and one the correct is 100 2 for each state...... so if you don't know the previous one and you just have to do the math (100/2) and you have the answer to the previous one......

When I was in school I loved these kind of questions that you can answer be reading the next one.....

Dude you should be thrilled... simplify... minimize... and pursue acting full time

US Latin... I think it's time for a new slogan under your name :)

Congrats. Welcome to the soup... the melting pot... the... hmm, something.

Nice scores... yea, most of them are way easy. There are only a few that are tough and most of us wouldn't know. Like "What's the names of your Senators for your state?" or the one that follows: "Yea, whatever that was easy, what about the Representatives now, *****?!" that one sucks if you are from, say California! I only learned two and called it a day. :D

Melting Pot... which doesn't come from food as most people think, but from metallurgy. The analogy being that the final product (say, steel) is stronger than the individual ingredients put together (iron, carbon, and chromium).

It's also why I've always hated the potpourri analogy for the US some people like.

hahaha yea, a "flowery ceramic bowl filled with flowery smelling potpourri" or a "super heated melting pot"? I think it would be safe to say that the melting pot wins... :)

I didn't know it was from metallurgy though, that makes it way better
