Anyone heard from Jeremy Tuttle?

man relax, I've seen members that have gone AWOL from DVXuser many a times, but they always come back (except Pookie, still waiting from him).

Probably really busy (my guess), I know I've done it myself; sometimes *shock* I can be doing stuff in the real world which leaves me with little time to spend in the cyber world and visea versa :D

Anhar,

Speak for yourself!

Note to fellow DVXusers: If I don't post or log in for longer then a four week period, send a search party! At least my neighbors will thank you for discovering what that smell was coming from my apartment.

He made a nice film for Drama Fest. A day at the park I think it was called?

Great short with nice images.

I thought he was entering in twilight fest as well?

Pookie has had many incarnations since being banned. He still has an active account here under another name. He doesn't post much anymore because his particular sense of humor seems to go against the grain of political correctness that has washed over this site in the last couple of years. He's sent a few PMs letting me know this.

Heheh. I've learned for myself that humour--especially black, twisted or bawdy humour--doesn't work very well on Internet forums. Matt Stone and Trey Parker could never survive here.

Yeah... that's too bad, but boy do I understand. You'd be surprised how many replies I type up laughing my ass off... and never post them.

About the South Park guys... it's too bad they have to take things SO far all the time... I think if they could just not go SO far over the line that more people would realize what geniuses they are... unfortunately, every now and then they take their comedy to sociopath extremes.

I wouldn't worry about people fading out on this place... I have some weeks where I just pop in for 10 seconds to see if I have a message... burn-out comes and goes.

I will second this for me! If I am ever going to be gone for more than a week or so, you will ALL know ahead of time. :) If I suddenly disappear (which you SHOULD notice) please come and find me.

I guess we could always fake our deaths like Chandler from friends to see what kinds of posts appear on DVXuser.

No doubt the news of fellow DVXuser death would probably slowly turn into an idea for a film plot (after the initial pleasantries)

then the discussion would move onto which 35mm adaptors resolves the most detail :D

I kidd..

Now that's comedy.

I think every successful comedian has been accused of "going too far" at some point. Sometimes they really, really do go too far and regret it. But comedy isn't a safe art form. It only works when it's pushing the envelope, and you just can't ride the edge like that without sometimes crossing over. The funniest, most talented comic writers I know definitely "go too far" on occasion. It's the price they pay to continue delivering things that surprise us and make us laugh.

Hmm...I actually just typed up a reply that was half a response and half a very BAAAD (in both ways) joke. Then I deleted it because I assumed it was too much. :)
