Best Depth of Field Adapter

I will be purchasing a depth of field adapter by the end of the week and would like to know your opinions on the best option. I'm sure you all have different tastes and styles of shooting but I'd love to hear everyone's input. I'll be shooting on an XH-A1. I do know that lighting, set design, cinemetography, etc. is what will really determine what looks best but let's just hold that constant for now. I want to know what will give me the best performance for what it's mean to do (imitate the film look).

I've narrowed it down to the following options:

Letus Extreme
Redrock M2
Brevis 35
Cinemek G35

Price is not an issue between these options, I only care about the best quality. Thanks for any input, it's greatly appreciated.

If price isn't an issue, the Letus Ultimate at $4500 is what you want. Otherwise it's a very subjective question and you're going to need to do a lot of reading to decide what you want.

The Letus Ultimate sounds great but it's out of my price range. I only meant that price isn't an issue between the four options I listed, i.e. I would not buy one over the other solely because it was $100 cheaper.

I agree that it seems like a tough decision to make, any recommendations on reviews or previous posts to read? I've been doing my research elsewhere but it is hard to find good, solid reviews and comparisons.

My vote goes for the Brevis. I've used my since it was invented, and it works beautifully. Well built and amazing service.

Hate to tell you but I don't think you're gonna get a lot of feedback simply because this subject has been exhausted. Then dug up, and exhausted again, then RE dug up, injected with formaldehyde, zapped with electricity, only to run a muck before being chased out of town with torches and pitchforks.

I promise you, there are probably more threads discussing EXACTLY this WORD for WORD above any other topic. Search, then search some more. Then, only then, if you absolutely must without any shadow of a doubt, you may dig up the rotting corpse of this topic and ask a more specific question.

Understand I say this with love.

Please search the forum for answers and for videos and decide for yourself.
Cinemek G35 is too new to get feedback from. It also doesn't flip the image. What camera are you shooting with?

There's a whole section for this on the main page of the forum under 35mm adapters. All the info you'd ever want on them is in there
