Any good site besides dvxuser that constantly reviews the new stuff and gives recommendations on good gear and accessories, like the letus ultimate 35mm adapter, dvmultirig, etc etc.. things that are pretty cool to know. Also, comparing different cams.

Is there a good magazine to subscribe too? I'm not subscribed to any, but the technology is coming fast, and I'd like to stay up to date.

Thanks!

i guess dvxusers is the best one as its really active. As soon as there is something new someone is creating a thread there. In Europe these things are shown in magazines 6 monthes to 1 year later ^^
And people creating the gears are here too. We know everything about the Blade, the new SGPro, before anybody. Jan Crittenden from Panasonic is participating. The Ikonoskop was first spoken here .... etc etc

It's funny because in the past I have found it too time consuming to scour forums like this to try to find things out. So, now I just have a good look here about once every week or two and I just take it all in at once. :D It's like "WOW!" "Nuh Uh!" "Dude!" all in one sitting as I look at all the cool happenings.

A good way to put a halt on productivity is to become obsessed with the newest technology available (I, unfortunately, speak from experience).

I've been in broadcast for over 30 years. Nightly I visit a few forums like this one. Daily I read up on the trends in about a dozen trade magazines I get for free.
This way when I do have to make a purchase or business decision I have followed the trends long enough to know what to do. Or when I'm talking with others in the industry, I have a reason for my opinions.
Things are changing so quickly these days you gotta stay on top of your industry no matter what it is.

The best part is, as opposed to just a few years ago, it's so easy to keep up because of the internet and forums like this one.

thanks guys, all interesting stuff!

By the way, you have any recommendations? Any other forums that's worth checking out, magazines, etc.
