maybe they close when she falls asleep and she can't open them when she wakes. imagine how scary that would be.

the article doesn't mention whether or not it's possible to pry them open during the closed times, and can she see if they do. The fact that it happens with such regularity that it can be scheduled out what days she can do stuff makes me think it is a mental block of dome kind, rather than a physical condition.

Either way it's a strange story.
