Does anybody know what the very first post was on DVXuser, first EVER?

I think the first post was someone asking what that clunking noise is in his DVX. Moments later, he was chided for being a noob and told to use the search function.

HAHAHAHA!!!

Nice thread!

Looking for the answer now, did we find out?

So, which one was better.
I think history will show the DVX won out. But had the XL2 come out when the XL1s did it would've been questionable. Both cameras had a great image. The XL2 image had an odd look that made me think about old movies. For me the XL2 was the ultimate. It did 24p like a DVX but looked like an XL. Believe it or not the look of the XL is still considered more "pro". For this reason Sony will probably make a killing off the HD1000. If only the iris and the focus were kept separate versus being a one ring and did 24p I think that would've clinched it for me at that price point.

Actually, the question was about the DVX vs. the XL1, in which case, it's not even close. At least not for filmmakers, but I'd say in general, too.
