Brandon Rice and the Red

So yeah, I've lost count of all the twists of the spiral I've seen, but the bottom line is that I am not on FB or (shudder) MySpace. Linked-in also came and went. The real new black now is to be as little traceable on the net as possible - there should be info about you but not by you on the net.

I don't know. I'm really liking massify.com, which is specifically geared toward videographers, talent and filmmakers like us. And in theory DVXUser is nothing more than a big social networking site. The irony is it's not hard to contact people here simply by posting or PMing them so you're not as untraceable as you think, you're actually easier to find.

Why are we stalking Brandon?

Why are you NOT stalking Brandon? He's like a dog. Wait, did I type dog? I meant god...or did I? :D

Speaking of the B-Man, where have you been lately? Haven't seen you around as much as usual. Although, you can all probably say the same thing about me. But I DO have a reason.

Honestly I've been really busy... helping out with a couple shoots the last two weekends, keeping things on course with post for NGL... working together with Brad on our next feature script... and lots of personal stuff going on on the side, it's kept me really busy... I'll try to get around more when I can.

When I first saw the picture that's what I thought... looks like he's sneaking way with it...

I love the expression on his face. That really makes the photo. He's like, "Oh, I should uh, take this somewhere it will be safe - like my place." LOL. Great pic. Good luck with the shoot. The framegrabs were awesome by the way.

YIKES!!! You guys working with Several Terabytes I'm assuming. How are you going to show it? Since you're shooting on Red I'm assuming you've got some screening set up or is this to be downloaded from a site or what?

It'll be online eventually at my website of course. We'll have a 1080p H.264 file eventually. As far as screening it goes... can't say too much but we've got some interesting hookups who want to see this.

Geoff is the man!

BTW... I'll go on record saying the NGL stuff is THE best looking HVX-200 footage ever shot.

You should try to hook up with the "Fireproof" guys Brandon and see if you can get NGL into theaters. It couldn't hurt to try.
