I love this time of year.

Simply put. Spring and early fall are my favorites. Cool evenings for leaving the windows open. Great time to get on my bikes and ride my brains out. Fall colors are coming, great opportunities for once-a-year shots. Kinda hard to sit behind a desk and edit anything when the weather is just beckoning me to come outside!

Agreed. The heat and humidity of summer are gone, and everywhere you look, it's a photo op.

And my town council has just announced a photo contest!!!! new photos coming........
The light, color........

Imagine if the heat and humidity never went away. Where Hurricanes threaten you from June to November. Where its hotter after it rains. Twilightfest entry? No, South Florida!

It's absolutely perfect down here at this time of year. Makes up for the incomprehensibly uncomfortable summer humidity!

The weather in Vancouver has turned. There are two seasons in Vancouver, Summer and the Grey Season. The Grey Season started this week.

I always find the best times to visit any place in the world is either October or May. During either of those two months almost every place in the world is perfect.

Except in a month it'll be cold as shite. :)

Wilmy has 4 Seasons

Spring - Last about a month
Summer - Hot as ****, humid as crap for about 5 months
Fall - About a Month
Winter - Cold as **** for about 5 Months

Lol

Winter here might seem like five months if you grew up without any, but it's really only two -- Jan/Feb. With a few cold days scattered here and there.

As opposed to those northern climes where the seasons are Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Sunburn.

My favorite too. I hate snow though. And it is coming. I wish I could live in Maryland in the fall, LA in the winter and Harlem in the summer. Maybe one day.

I'm headed to Tsali Recreation area, just outside Bryson City, NC in 3 weeks for some camping and biking action. Toting the cams along to see what I can do in the woods!

I always forget your nativity.

Winters from hell.

Any "winter" where I wear shorts and T-shirts (or maybe a sweatshirt) through most of December and start up again in late February isn't even from purgatory.
