Spend your time, energy and money on a proper steadicam if you are trying to create shots that look like you used a dolly or jib.
I use the Merlin. It stabilizes the camera.... but that's not all. It also gives you the ability to rotate and tilt as you are moving, all in one smooth action. It takes some time to become proficient at using the device but the rewards are worth the effort.
