A cut and paste from a post over at our forum. Patrick and the crew at stillmotion have been playing with an EX1, our shoulder rig, and the EX1 "fix" CFXL. Great stuff from these rising stars in the world of event photo-videography

I'd have to give credit to the Stillmotion crew there...but thanks for the kind words gents. The impetus for the CINEFUSE interchangeable imaging element program came from the original beta testers (from this forum I might add) who covered the gamut in terms of what they were looking for in an adapter. I'm glad we listened.

Any NON EX1 footage with the new imaging elements? I'd like to see it on a 'lesser' camera like an HV20. Don't you guys at Cinevate have one of those lying around?

As a matter of fact we have the HV20 and HV30 to work with. The next video university segment will be shot next week and use the HV30 and CFX:

1. Part 1 is an HV20/30 shooting and tuning guide. We'll look at tape metadata (gain/shutter info) and do a simple review of setting the camera up for adapter use.

2. Part 2 is a tutorial on shooting with Canon EF lenses. Canon Canada was kind enough to send up a very nice set of lenses so we'll cover hot swapping them and setting aperture etc.

3. Part 3 will be a music video that we're shooting with the HV30 CFX combination on top of the some other cams.

The HV30 piece, and Canon EF lense segments are being edited right now and will be up later today, possibly Monday.
