Ikan Monitor - Plugging in the Cables - Which to Which?

Hi, I have an Ikan HD8000 monitor and I have to plug in the yellow white and red cables from my camcorder into the Y Pb and Pr slots on the monitor. But I don't know which goes to where and don't want to get it wrong and blow up my monitor. Any quick pointers?

Wrong cable. That's the composite input. You want to use component input (red, green, blue). I don't remember the exact order but it won't damage your monitor if you plug it in the wrong way. You either won't get a picture or the color will be off.

You can use the same yellow white red cable in place of a component cable (assuming RCA connectors on both devices), you just might see some RF noise depending on the quality of the shielding. But you didn't say which camera, which has to have a component output, not composite.

i hate to ask but could someone maybe point me in the right direction for this component cable, im having trouble finding it online or finding the right search words.

i have an xha1, the ikan 800, and 3 bnc-to-rca adapters

i'm not quite sure even what to ask for in a store (i know 'component cable') but 'component cable' with what exactly at each end, that a store clerk who may know less than me would understand...

ok, am i correct, green to Y, blue to Pb, red to Pr?

i got the cable and now i cant get the monitor to display anything but IKAN on a blue screen...
