Lost in my workflow--I don't know WTF I'm doing.

I had my timeline set to DV-NTSC Anamorphic for a project done in 16:9. My current project doesn't need to be 16:9, i'd prefer it to be 4:3. However, I've already resized each clip to fit 16:9. Bonehead move on my part.

1. In order to "reverse" this move, do I simple use Easy Setup>DV-NTSC, copy timeline and paste into a New Project using DV-NTSC? How can I accurately resize the clips?

2. Should I even bother? The clips were basically magnified to fit 16:9, so I'm not sure what that's going to do to the image at final output.

3. Speaking of output, what's best for the web?

4. I don't even remember what setting I captured this with. I uploaded it and it looks/sounds like total s**t. Is there anything I can do? It looks fine on quicktime, but crappy on Viddler.com

For future reference, what's a proper workflow from capture to output, for web and dvd?

Thanks for your help everyone, I'm trying my damnedest to figure all this out. :embarasse

when you say "already resized each clip to fit 16:9"

did you just resize in FCP or encode the files to 16:9?
if you just resized in FCP> Right Click >Remove Attributes>Check Basic Motion

For web and dvd you can just leave it 16x9 if that's what you want. Most DVD encoding software will recognize a 16x9 clip and encode it as such. What that means is that, on a 16x9 TV, the DVD player will playback in full 16x9 widescreen in the proper ratio, and on a 4x3 TV, the DVD player will letterbox it by throwing away every 4th line. Even the cheapest piece of crap DVD player does this automatically. For the web, you just have to input the dimensions for a 16x9 image properly. 640x380 is 16x9.
