I'm right at the 3-month mark as well. I don't mind the wait, but I am getting frustrated by the total lack of information on when to expect the monitor. Given that there are unfilled orders from 3+ months ago, isn't it about time to update the ol' shipping estimate on the Carrion site? It still says 4-5 weeks. I wish!
 
I thought long and hard about the carrion as well. When I didn't get e-mail responses for weeks on end, I decided it was like an investor experience, rather than a buying experience. Clearly, some of these products, and the innovators that produce them are worthwhile...if you wai and deal with the early adopter isuues. I went with the Nebtek http://www.nebtek.com/products.php?cat=13.

Another buddy of mine also has the Panasonic

Though both have less resolution than the Carrion, they are both great choices
that are available.
 
How are you liking the Nebtek. Just sold my Marshall and I'm in the market between 2-3 grand. The 900 is too big. If the 80 had pass through I'd jump on it.

How's the brightness and viewing angle of the Nebtek? Peaking work well?

On topic. Sounds like this could turn out worse the RRMB wait.
 
I just spoke with Luis again yesterday and he explained that he is in pre-production for a bigger project right now. He apologized and actually tried recruiting me to help with the Monitors! He made a compelling argument and what he needs from me is fairly simple. So hopefully the Carrion will be shipping out faster as a result! He also said that he is shipping out three units in a few days and that he is building an other batch right now. I am going over next week to take a look at where I could help him so I'll certainly post an update on this thread then. He has helped me in the past so I will try to see what I can to help him out even though I am just as busy as he is. But I might be able to do more than I think. I just hope I can help Luis and you guys all at once. :thumbsup:

(Maybe I can get mine at cost :D)
 
I ordered a Carrion earlier this month but realized I need a monitor sooner. I sent him an email over a week ago to cancel but haven't heard anything. Is he checking email at all? Anyone else try to cancel? I'd like to avoid having to pay my credit card & wait weeks for a credit. Thanks for any info.

I've sent 3 emails in the past month and heard nothing. I don't care if that monitor is made out of gold and sold for half the price, It's time to move on....

I have just ordered mine sometime last month. Hoping to get it soon. Hopefully within 4-5 weeks like what's on the site. Luis someone had mentioned this before. Sending out a bulk email letting everyone know what the situation is would help. Crossing my fingers.
 
Hi Luis,

I ordered my Carrion B August 12 paid and everything. I can't wait to get it. I am going to just use a 22" LCD just for testing my Red when it arrives this week.

If you could just get back to me and let me know if I will recieve my Carrion in, 2 weeks or 3 weeks?

Since I ordered mine about 2 weeks after Lars, I hope that means I'll be receiving it soon. Of course I don't really like to say things like "Hopefully since it's been 4 months I'll be getting it soon, but of course I have no way of knowing!" about a $1500 item I paid for back in April. Not that I'm bitter.

Hey Guys,

I know people have been waiting a long time. I am getting caught up with most of the orders this and next week. 6 are going out today, and 6 will go out on Saturday. I do appreciate the business and apologize for the time it has taken to get it.
