24p to 30i, Forward Telecine

I have a project with a mix of 24p (shot 24pa on a DVX100, imported as 24p) and 30i (standard DV video) footage. After playing with it for a while, I've decided to edit and deliver in 30i; I tried using Magic Bullet Frames Plus to convert the 30i to 24p, but wasn't wild about the results (the motion seemed unpleasantly jerky).

Thus, the question: What is the best way of doing a forward telecine to convert the 24p footage to 30i? I've never actually had to do this before...

I have done this before using Cinema Tools (free app with FCS). Not sure if it is the best way, but it will work.
 
I'd lay it back off to tape FCP under the RT button on the timeline will add back 3:2 cadence on layoff.
