Cinemek's g35 adapter shipping june 20th!

Hey, I'm in the area too. Richmond & San Francisco. I have a go35 diffuser (I say that because I mod it a bit). If you want to do some comparison, please let me know. I don't check my pm often but you can email me at min (at) fuglee (dot) org.

She said they are taking sales via creditcard and money orders by phone or mail as of the beginning of july. Its actually available as we speak, just talked to her. Unfortunately they do not have the website up for orders yet. They are slacking there. By far though if any of you have seen the gold fish video with the hvx200 on virb.com/cinemek and you know what im talking about you will have to agree it looks more like 35mm film than any other adapter ever presented on the market. But to each his own favorite. You can get shallow dof by telephotoing in with a wide apt. but its not the same as an adapter by all means. good luck, speak up if anyone has it yet!

but here is the thing, you would think if what they are saying is true there would be a few more people on here talking about theirs and what it can do. You would think the g35 owners would be starting threads right and left due to overwhelming demand and want of the g35 by film makers a like wouldn't you. I dunno I don't want to give up on them but I just never know if what they say is true or not. I won't believe in what they say until the adapter is as wide spread in terms of use or sales as the redrock or the letus. Am I right? I guess good things will come to those who wait though. One thing is for sure though the new letus ultimate is a freaking rip off for what it does compared to the regular letus extreme. A 900 dollar g35 that is a run and gun type would truly be amazing.

Dan I really want to know what you meant by all of that now.

I read on some forums a while back that Jonathan asked you to help with a vibrating device but that someone got burned along the way.

And what happened to the MPIC Dan?

It seems like a couple of great adapters (MPIC and G35) almost promised great things and then died out.

Why? Didn't you see what their phone-answerer-head-salsesperson told HVXSHROPSHIRE over a month ago? "Its actually available as we speak" They've been shipping since the beginning of July. Man, these babies have been flying off the shelves for the last 5 weeks at least! Can't you tell by all the footage people have been posting.

I don't understand why people would still wait for this. From the demo footage I've been seeing, the current slew of adapters out there are just as good or better.
 
I guess they are sending out the orders now, the have their shop open on their site and you can enter in your waiting list passwords to get into the store. Not sure how you get a password now though, I know they took like the first 1500 or something and are working on getting those orders out first or something. Sounds to me like bullshit though, I want to believe but just haven't seen any footage yet other than from macgregor. You would think if it was actually being shipped out right now you would see stuff all over vimeo as tests and what not. What do you guys think. The further I got with stephanie she didn't answer my exact questions. She always found a way to avoid them.
 
I just got a password for the store. I assume it is because I had a line number back in 2005 or whenever it was :)

Sorry I haven't chimed in earlier on this thread. Please feel free to email or PM me with any questions. I'm sorry if some of you feel as if you have been deceived. this was definitely not my intent. My life personally has taken some interesting turns and now am excited to say that we are back on track with a team of people. We have contacted the customers we have committed to. Yes it's me :) we have mounts for several cameras including the DVX and HVX. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
 
Why is there such a shortage of information on your product? I want to see more than just product shots, I want to see setup videos, rig pictures, newer footage, everything.
