Christopher Walken to play Ozzy Osbourne

That's got to lead to some kind of vortex of awesomeness that could very well threaten the fabric of reality itself...
 
I hate to admit this but a couple of summers ago my brothers and I were addicted to the show, “Rockstar Supernova”. Tommy Lee was the drummer. So, when they were playing in Albany a gang of us got tickets and my older brother and I snuck to the front and had a relatively good time. At the end of the show, Tommy Lee takes a huge swig out of a fresh bottle of Jagermeister and handed it down to a hot chick in the front row who proceeded to take a swig and pass it back. Well, by the time it got to me I was so in the moment I took a swig, handed it to my brother who did the same and polished off the bottle. It was then that we realized that he and I had what amounted to 30 peoples worth of backwash. Add to that, Tommy Lee's hepatitis C rumors from a few years back......well, it was a quiet, thoughtful ride home.

I assumed right away that this is going to be a fairly contemporary version of Ozzy. Because ... well that's the only thing that makes sense. Maybe a brief scene back in the day and then the band runs into him now? Dunno. It's just a cameo. The article says all the cameos will be cast with big names like Walken and Kilmer and the band will be played by unknowns.
 
Hm, that article is dated November '06. Wonder if Walken is still going to do it. That would be so badass and funny at the same time.
 
Well, the more interesting part of Ozzie's life was many years and brain cells ago. Anything over the past few years has been covered by The Osbornes. I guess I can see why they cast an actor to play an older Ozzie, mostly because Ozzie couldn't remember his lines, but who cares about a feeble-minded, drug addled, over the hill ex rocker? Hell, I'm sure much of the movie would be a surprise to him.

ha! i loved that show, do you know if they're bringing it back?

anyways, i went to a motley show a few years ago. i think i was in the tenth row. tommy did the same thing there, he had a bottle of jager, took a swig and passed it to the front row. he instructed them to take a swig and pass it back. by the time it got to me, it crossed my mind that i'd be drinking 10 other people's spit, but you can bet your ass i took a swig anyways!

i've basically kissed tommy lee. heh.
