PK's Karaoke World Record Attempt (40+ hrs of singing badly)

It should be over soon.

The clock on the site isn't updating. He started yesterday morning at 5am PT so he should be done sometime around 12am tonight I think.

He just mentioned he thinks he might have just broken the world record, and then followed up by singing "The Best Thing About Being a Woman" haha

I think his goal is over the world record... maybe I heard wrong. Anyone else?

Haven't gotten the official word yet.
According to Thartley's calculations they had 20 minutes to go....but they may have already done it.
Either way - he wants to beat the record by an hour.

He shattered the record, and we had an awesome rendition of "We are the Champions"

Now he's still going - wants to tack at least an hour onto the old record.

I just signed off. He has broken the record and is taking victory laps with more songs to seal the deal.

If you have not logged in go check it out

I'm just back at my place. He is still going. I dont understand how he is doing it. If I get a strand of his hair, can someone run his DNA? As of right now, he has beat even the unofficial world record that is still pending verification by one hour.

He is taking a short break and says he will come back. Amazing! He was about to literally fall over this morning. But as the sun rose, so did his spirits. And he hasnt stopped. This is the first break he's taken since 10:30am Thailand time, almost four hours.

Anyhoo, I'm passing out. All of you who came in to give him a virtual pat on the back to prop him up, I can't thank you enough!

Thanks everyone!

Thartley

While I was "DJ'ing" for him, I had him sing Golden Earring's Twighlight Zone in honor of the current DVXfest.

Thanks everyone for jumping online over there and letting him know people were out here.

He is still going, I am going to bed.

Later,

I only saw the last six hours or so, but let me tell you, it was epic. It's the most fun I've ever had not sleeping. And I'm sure PK might feel the same way. Gongrats, PK! It was a great show for a great cause. Thank you for doing it, and braving 43 hours of pop music.

Had a ton of fun watching PK and being part of the discussion. Way to go PK and everyone on the Isara team!
