Hi all,

I would like your opinions on something.

What are the pros and cons of using spinning/rotating ground glass systems (Brevis,RNG35,SGPRO,Letus, etc) or a straight mount adapter like a SLR (Canon FD, Nikon, etc) lens to 1/3 bayonet mount Adapter?

The Camera that I am using is the JVC GY-HD 110U.

These don't get you the field-of-view of 35mm lenses. Since the chip size on the camera is only 1/3'', putting an SLR lens on there results in a crop factor of about 7.8 since the image is projected on a smaller surface. A 50mm lens for example becomes roughly a 400 mm lens in FOV. Not very useful for most situation. A 35mm adapter projects the image on to a ground glass that's much larger than the usual 35mm frame, so you get (theoretically) the same FOV and this DOF characteristic.
