Austrian coming to northern California, questions for the locals

I will fly to the Raiders´training camp in Napa to shoot it for Austrian television. Cool job. I will bring my HVX, BTW.

I have 2 questions:
anyone know a nice cheap place in Napa/Sonoma?
and while I am in the SFO area, is there a shop like BH-Photo in New York. I know there is nothing that big, but some shop where I can get Tiffen-filters and a few other small things that cost double over here....

help appreciated...
 
I know that there is a Calumet Photo in San Francisco - great store, half my photo equipment comes from them with only about 25% coming from B&H, the other from Samy's (our SoCal B&H).

I've easily spent $15,000 in the last 6 years at Calumet on photo equipment, not video, and they are top notch. They do carry video equipment, though. I am the type that if I have even a hiccup with a company I wont deal with them again. I think you can trust them.

ALSO, depending on how long you are here, you can always buy from B&H and have it overnighted to you in NorCal. It will still be substantial savings over Euro prices. Plus if you buy local in NorCal you will pay sales tax, but if you buy from B&H you wont.

Just some ideas. Enjoy the trip.
