I love these! Especially the second one!

Yup, thats a Bugatti Veyron.. I was staying in London at the time, and I just happen to walk by it after dinner.

wow. its been a long time since this thread has been touched and even longer since i added to it. just came back from a trip to the Outer Banks in NC. Here are a few pics....though, admittedly, the location really is irrelevant because a couple of them are portraits...

my friends kid. the kid is like a coked up ferret. this was a rare moment...he let me snap one of him...

EDIT: Note to self: Never use a frame the same gray color as the DVXuser background.

For dinner one night we had a seafood smorgasbord. This is a plate of grilled tuna (my absolute fav), and caramelized scallops wrapped in smoked bacon. my knock on this shot is that its kinda hard to tell that its scallops. They are very white..so I struggled with the shot a bit...

Here is a picture of beach volleyball. Pretty self-explanatory. It was hard to get a good shot of this because I was being eaten ALIVVVVE.

And finally, a nighttime/dusk shot of my sister (on the right) and her longtime friend...

I've got quite a few more. If I get around to cleaning them up and or posting them I will....thanks for looking....

Damn it! I could have gone at least another couple of hours before I had to eat But NO! I had to look at your second image. That looks SOOoooo good! I really like the Volleyball shot, shooting through the net like that sold the image for me.

thanks Mino.

i learned a lot shooting the volleyball game. i learned that if there is no ball in the shot...no matter what kind of drama is happening on the sand, no matter how pretty the lighting or beach...its dull as anything. i have a lot of shots with the people but without that danged little ball...the pics were lifeless....

That's it, I'm buying a 50mm f1.8 lens. AND I'm going to take pictures starting today. Batteries are charging. I haven't done anything creative in a little over a month and its killing me. No more excuses.

Shot a friend's rugby game, but wasn't really sure what I was looking for to be honest. Never really watched rugby or played it and the weather changed so rapidly it was sort of difficult to expose properly. These are just a couple shots from the first card. As soon as I find the other, I'll post some up.
