They all look good, number 1 is my favorite because I love her. And I see no difference between the bounce shots and the flash shots. Well done.
What are you using for bounce?

This won't cut it dude...I' flying out there as we speak to ask her out!:)

Seriously though, all good ones Alveraz nice shooting. I like how #3 is almost in a "Scene" if you will, sort of has a "shot on set" look to it

Thanks guys! Number 1 is the daughter of a talent agent I work with, I shot her other daughter this evening actually but I havent gotten to her shots yet.

Number 3 is my favorite of this group only because whenever I get a chance to step out of the industry standard on a headshot it's much more fun. If I could only shoot fun headshots for a living, man that would be great, I might even like doing this.

Seriously guys, I don't enjoy shooting headshots anymore, it's so completely monotonous now. If it wasn't paying for vacations and other habits I'd quit in a heartbeat. Anyway, my brother is in training to take over soon so that will be nice. I get to take in half the revenue while I concentrate on writing, not bad :)

Awesome shots as always...

Quick question, your locations are outside of the studio yes? If so how do you go about finding them on the street and/or what do you look for especially?

These are all in my garage, the 3rd one is on the side of my house. I like to find cave-like areas with wide mouths for light, if that makes sense. A garage is ideal as you have the depth/darkness but a balanced flood coming in the front. This also gives you room to slide the subject in and out of the light as you see fit.

I use a large white bounce for filter or bounce. I forget at the moment what it's actually called but as a filter it simply softens the light coming though.
