Need suggestions on how to light a tunnel

Hi everybody

I'm sure many of you are kind and experienced. I'm shooting a MV in the next few days. So, the director wants to imitate this look from DJ Krush. But, for our shoot, It has to be a day scene, so the existing lights in the tunnel are not turned on.

at 0:13 , what light do you guys think that can give that effect for my camera setup( HVX+M2)? Is 4K HMI powerful enough? Or should I use a Super SunGun? We don't want to light the whole tunnel and we dont want flare either. Plus we also need to light the subject. The situation in that video is similar to our video. Would 2 Kino Diva be a good idea to light the subject? Or should I just go with hard light? I should note that the tunnel that we are going to use is shorter in length than the video you just saw.

at 0:59 , you can see that the end of the tunnel is not as brighter as b4 and it seems like there's 1 light missing at the bottom part. I suspect that they use the other light to light the subject. Meaning they use only 3 lights. Could these 3 lights be 2x 1.2K HMI and 1 575w HMI? Please let me know what you guys think and please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks in advance guys!

Hmm, we'll you're going to really need a "wall of light" behind the walking subject. If the subject is lit somewhat dimly (still enough for proper exposure) and backlight 3 stops higher, you should be able to get that white wash out effect. BUT, that's not a small area you're lighting. A tunnel is a pretty big space.

I don't know enough about lighting outdoors to really help you much, but I can see in concept where you're going. Looking forward to the answers from some of the gurus here.
