'Scene by Scene" for fans of Scorsese, De Palma, Lynch, Polanski, and Woody Allen

There was a great show on BBC called Scene by Scene which interviewed directors and talked with them while they watched parts of their films. You can view the episodes with Martin Scorsese, Brian De Palma, David Lynch, Roman Polanski, and Woody Allen.

It's pretty awesome stuff if you like any of them!!

PLUS

This there's a guy named matt7333 who has an insane youtube account!

He's the one who uploaded the Scene by Scene with David Lynch, Roman Polanski, and Woody Allen, and a 2 hour long 1982 BBC video interview with Orson Welles, also the old Stanley Kubrick documentary Invisible Man. He has TONS more too! I can't name them all so just check out his video page.

Oh man! I was so pissed I couldn't watch the Kubrick "Boxes" doc on my Mac from the Channel 4 website a week or two ago. This is just great- THANK YOU!

Here's a link to the Scene By Scene Lynch episode- it's about halfway down the page: http://davidlynch.de/

Great stuff, thanks for sharing.

The first part of the De Palma interview has some of the most awkward and intrusive questions I've ever seen. Which of course makes me want to watch more.

Yeah dude! the guy who hosts the show can bring up some weird stuff from older interviews!! Its like wow did he just ask that??
