Twilight (teen vampire movie)

I am a huge fan of The Lost Boys, but this movie is based on some best-selling teen vampire book series. (?)

I dunno....the trailers maybe don't make it looks so good there, but I will still end up seeing it, just because. I wonder what kind of little video camera he's using in this clip that would get anything decent in such low light. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

Directed by Catherine Hardwicke who also directed Lords of Dogtown and also writer/director for Thirteen.


Edit: In a trailer posted on Yahoo News, I did see a really great tagline of "When you can live forever, what do you live for?" That's pretty good.

I've read the books and they were excellent but I think the movie may be focusing too much on the action element rather than the love element, which is the focus of the books.

I'm 42... I will watch a bad film if I think I can learn from it, even if its just how not to do something. And ones based on books are an even better learning tool because you can study how well the best-selling story was adapted to the screen.

I have not read the books, so I have no clue as to how the world the writer created in the stories will compare to the visual world created by the DP in the movie.

We'll see....

The only problem is that it costs money to see these films. And I have 2 in diapers.
 
Yep, my girl is going to be 20 yrs old this year and they don't ever quit wearing out the wallet. :crybaby:
