I have never been so disgusted in my life... i literally had 50+ mosquitos on me, in my mouth... in my ears... in my eyes..... under my arms.... within my clothing..... and i look like a pink leopard.....

GROSS.....

Ya gotta see it to believe it...it I had to shoot a plane crash for a local news outlet across a seemingly short span of field and I could not believe the number of mosquitos that came after me...yikes....

YARRGH!!!!

Because of our rush to get out tof there..... All the footage is over exposed....

Jesus titty ****ing christ.......

I live in the mountains, I would say I am used to that kind of thing but I'm not. We don't get swarms like that but I have had a lot come at me at once.

What kinda field did you go to?

We're surrounded by the country here, i mean we're pushed into a tiny cove on the coast but everywhere else it's just fields. I never get Mosq-

ah, hold on, probably the whole Global Warming / Not hot enough for us Mosquito stuff isn't it.

I go camping alot, all i get are these tiny ass ants that look like there on steroids and fly around. Mostly see then when I'm drunk, but I'm a bit of a hippy. Used to insects. We get alot of flies though.. maybe that's just me personally.

Yeah, it looks real innocent and everything but...
A can of 'Off' works pretty good.
Those skeets can kill a grown man without military training.

Ask my dad about that, long story, lol.

Well its not as bad as i thought. i was checking the footy on a mac dispaly, and on my PC it looks better... Also on my Sony it looks actually quite good....

So disaster averted.

Bah! Try Northern Ontario where the clouds of mosquitos and blackflies are so thick that you continually have a dark cloud around you and can't see past your arm.

Just wait a sec and someone from Manitoba or Saskatchewan will pipe-up...

Bats. Bats are good for mosquitos. Some people keep bat houses.

Bat houses didn't do much good when I lived next to the marsh in a fishing village. My places at right on a small lake as well, which was kept stocked with carp, which love to eat the beasties.

I have used so much OFF here in Thailand that I think I have suffered permanent neurological damage from the DEET.

:violin:

Whenever I roam around Iowa, I always wear an outfit called Rynoskin along with the gloves and head netting.
Rynoskin is mainly used to keep ticks off you but it does help with mosquitos I've found.
The head netting is awesome as I can still see just fine and them bastards can't get anywhere close.

I might look like I'm going on a raid but I can stay in the woods around here all day without a bit.

I've found DEET doesn't do much of anything around here. The best thing I've found is the netting which keeps them from getting to you.

I went to upstate NY a few weeks ago and my legs still have scabs on them from the little biting flies that tore me up. It seems like there aren't any bugs in cali except these little fruit flies that hang out in the kitchen.
