focus lock?

Anybody know if any of the adapter manufacturers would be interested in a focus lock/barrier thing like the P&S has? Like this:

It seems it would have to be made for specific cameras, but other than that is it really too hard to manufacture? Any interest from other users?

It's just one of those little things I think would bring the indie adapters up to the same level as the P&S. That and a big handle on the adapter.

Looks cool, probably cost a bit more than my Gaffers tape though. If the price was right I would buy one.

Geardear do this one, the Y shaped thing locks the focus ring. Works well, I have one.

On the new HPX170 and HMC150, you can actually lock the focus ring in place, which seems like it'd be pretty handy for adapter users.

The P&S thing is monumentally obstructive, it's a good idea to prevent people from accidentally turning their focus ring but frankly I'm more inclined to go with the gaffer tape solution.
