Joker Bug 800 - Lighting senerio

Hello

I am shooting some inserts of an actor infront of a cyc.

I just need to evenly light some of the cyc behind him for medium & close up shots.

Will a joker bug 800 with a chimera do the trick.

Just looking to attain an even soft spread of light behind him.

Depends on the size of the Chimera, the space involved and the distance to the cyc , but yes, this should work perfectly, if not overkill.
2-400 jokers would do a better job, but the 800 will provide plenty of light for the type of assignment you describe.

I think i am going to rent a medium size chimera.

I don't need to cover much space. I'd say an area of 6ft x 6ft approx.
