"Is it a Porno"

I'm seeing something with a naughty barista and an irate customer or manager...Something about she just can't steam the milk or pull the espresso...hmmm...

Wow, that's a great idea! I'll put that right there with the oversized mattebox
and the stick-on company logo for a personal car. I also think wearing black and
setting up your cell phone to ring every 5 minutes helps.

If you produce enough stuff in Wisconsin, you know some of those things will work. Midwesterners get starstruck pretty easily.

Last thing I shot that was porn related had a lot of whipped cream in it and now I can't stand the smell of whipped cream.

We were shooting a scene at a friend's apartment. One of our actors decided to wonder off, but really didn't know the neighborhood. Eventually the police had to bring him back. When they walked in they saw, the XL2, lights, a half naked woman in a robe reading a script (she was in small two piece bathing suit actually for a shower scene but was between shots) and a bunch of guys fawning over her. There's a pause, the cop goes. "Is this a porno?" The director says no. Cop goes, "Oh okay. If you are, we don't mind, we were just wondering could we watch."

During the Redlight district scene in "Wages of Sin" while patroling the area, the cops came over to "investigate" as well as try to put the mack on our actresses. So if nothing else, we had police protection. (The chicks were hot though).

I've fielded that question a couple of times myself, but I suppose I don't look sleazy enough to get it more often.

I did have a friend in town who came to one of my shoots one night and got an eyeful of a couple of actors doing some serious dry-humping, but that's as close to porn as I ever got (aside from some as of yet unreleased projects).

The real fun is telling your locations manager find me a motel that looks like something out of a porno.

There's a place in Sun Valley, that's always fit the bill, for me...
