Slow Mo doesnt work

i have tried several diffferent ways to get the "perfect slow mo" from my dvx. i shoot 60i 1/120th shutter and then i capture the footage the same way i capture my 24pa footage. when all is said and done my footage in interlaced and stroby. what am i doing wrong? please help... video of the bad footage will be posted soon.

There are plugins you can purchase that do an amazing job. For example, Twixtor:

Also the DV Rebel's Guide shows some nice techniques:

But with FCP alone it's tricky to get amazing Slowmo.

it really does work!
(took me several tests to figure it out tho)

shot 60i > slowed down in aftereffects + frameblending> outputted in 30p
