What I think you're saying is you can't prove a negative. You can't prove that god does not exist, only that he does (which is a proof we still await).
But otherwise I'm not sure what you're getting at. The point someone made was that he had experienced something he believed was supernatural, so he feels that who's to say some of the photos/videos of aliens aren't also possibly authentic. And you seemed to suggest that proving/disproving the existence of aliens is different than proving/disproving the existence of the supernatural. They're both impossible to disprove "universally" no matter how many times you can disprove individual accounts. The only proof you can have is eventually to prove that something does exist: when the aliens make themselves apparent or god appears or ghosts appear introduce themselves to each and every one of us revealing their existence to everyone. I'm not holding my breath for either event, but there is no absolute proof that aliens do not exist anywhere, nor that there is not some supernatural power anywhere, and there never will be such proof that they do not exist. We can only look for proof that they DO exist, and so far we haven't found anything like proof.
No kidding! I'm still not sure if'n he's for it, or agin it...Man, Anhar, you sure know how to take the sexy out of a conversation.

Because they are making the assumption that the properties of the Creator are the same as those of created entities,
As for personal experience one can not agree/disagree with a particular individuals experience since it is internal to that person. However one must not confuse disproving measurable created entities (e.g. aliens, teapots etc) with personal experiences.
Keep in mind though, the Bible was written by man, and man has a tendency to exaggerate things.hmmm.... let´s have a look to the Genesis.
And God said, let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness - And God created the man in His own image; in the image of God He created him. He created them male and female.
So the creature is like the creator.

I'm not going to delve to deep on the Bible, it raises questions that are better communicated else where.
Hope you understand were I'm comming from.
No offence Anhar - for me there is no supernatural, just natural that we do not understand yet. But to each his own.
Hmm, I think you are ON TO SOMETHING!!! What I thought was just a cheesy 1970's Disney movie might have actually been irrefutable evidence...
