(New) Doctor Who - Season 4

I caught the last couple of Who-pisodes, Pompeii and the one with the fat babies. Now, which one of you can fill me in on his new companion? They obviously know each other, but from where?

Hey head_ed, nice to see someone from South Wales on the boards again.

It was from last years Christmas Special, The Runaway Bride, as above stated.

Where Catherine Tate's character Donna Noble, unknowingly took human particles causing her to screw up The Doctors plans of Grieving at the end of Season 2.

Where they took Donna Noble hostage in a London Taxi, the Taxi Driver was a Robot.. not sure about exploding Santas.

Tonights episode was Sad.

Predictable,
Cheesey,
Bad Ending,
& Cheap.

But sad.

They really need to fire & hire some new crew now. Fortunatly, after next weeks episode Steven Moffat takes the reins of Doctor Who for a Fortnight. So can't wait to see what he's written. Apparently it's the great. He was the man behind 'Blink' for some who are unsure as to who he is. Think I mentioned him a few pages back.

Thought tonights episode was crap, over extended and boring. In comparison though to next weeks episode, which is cancelled due to Eurovision for a fortnight. I think the next ones going to be good, that was, until I saw the 'realistic' looking skelleton in the next time trailer.

I've taken to calling this series Dr. What, because for the life of me I can't understand what either of them say. Half the episode I'm all "What? What?" :)

The first doctor, and all the companions, have been much more intelligible. I've gone so far as to try to turn on the closed captioning, but it appears that this show isn't captioned.

Don't know why I bother though, this show has so throughly jumped the shark that -- well, heck, it TRIED to jump the shark but it didn't even make it over. The shark's been feasting all season long. That episode with the fat... man, that was total chum.
