Need HD Monitoring/Output Solution for PowerPC MAC

So I've been looking at the blackmagic intensity pro the past week or so, and was really excited to get one, and hook it up to my G5 for an HDMI output... then i realized they can't run on powerPC models.

Anyone know of any HD monitoring (output) hardware that can run on powerPC macs?

---- another thought, ... right now I am running dual monitors, can I put another graphics card with DVI outs in my computer then go DVI to HDMI? Can I get a 720p res? ..and will the colorspace and frame rates go all a wacky? ( I just want it for editing in FCP)

With another video card you could get a DVI-HDMI cable and hook up an HDTV. It would be basically a third monitor, and you can use it for your "digital cinema preview" in Final Cut.
 
ah yeah ... I just ran across the matrox unit, just seems odd that it comes out of your DVI port, does it change the colorspace from sRGB to YPbPr? ...wish it was priced a little more competitively to the blackmagic intensity pro



.... whats the major downside to going the "digital cinema preview" route?
 
So I am going with the 2nd video card/dvi to hdmi route .... only issue, I can't seem to find a PCI-e video card for power mac for the life of me ... new or used .... anyone know of any?
