Isara's World Karaoke Record Attempt

Our very own PK Gillock (resident monk and all around nice guy) will be attempting to break the world Karaoke record of 39 straight hours!

The amazing thing about this is that we'll be able to monitor his progress and even request songs via a live web feed! This will be completely interactive.

Here's the playlist, so start thinking about your requests:

There are a few ways you can help:

- Register as a member of Isara.org. Everytime you use the site to do a web search, host a picture (www.isarapix.org), or just hang out on the forum and talk, you're helping create much needed charity funds for Isara. Those funds keep all of Isara's humanitarian efforts going strong.

- Donate $5 and request a song. Come on, it's about the price of a cup of coffee in the U.S., but it can be stretched much farther to help people in developing countries.

- Tell your friends and family!

Awesome. But why the song requests? Obviously, PK needs to do 39 straight hours of "Never Gonna Give You Up."
 
Horse, I am glad you posted this. I have been toting the signature banner for a few days but never thought of putting up a thread. I already made my song request, this should be one fun time!

Actually, someone just requested "Never Gonna Give You Up". So I can guarantee those listening (and suffering) at least one Rick Roll'd.

Wow! this sounds crazy. I think they tried to do something like this in Fresno a long time agao, but failed. Good luck!
 
I'm assuming that Terri will be documenting this event, right? This could make for some great blackmail footage.:)

Even your two-legged horse couldnt keep my camera from rolling on this thing. We will be shooting a promo video this weekend and I plan on having a two camera shoot. One to get the shots for the promo and BTS stuff, and one to get BTS of the BTS for the Rebel doc.

Would that be considered shooting BBTS?

I'm imbedding that video into my myspace page and telling all friends to check it out and request a song. Kind of cheating, but I'm also stating that PK is a friend...

Hopefully, PK will put together an outtakes and BTS piece. And hopefully, it will include when he was getting his make-up applied. That was nearly the funniest part behind the scenes because he was being yelled at in English and Thai to just shut up, quit being a baby, sit still, and look up, by three women! :-Laugh(DBG):

But there were lots of funny stuff. Which is amazing because the outside temperature taking the humidity into consideration was like 115F that day. And we were upstairs, most windows were closed in this tiny room, no a/c and no fans going. It was literally painful when someone forgot their lines or their cue.
