I am in Hollywood but will drive to you anywhere near Los Angeles.

I just need to get my Dual Adapter working on a HP notebook. If you can help me then I will give you my Panasonic rebate which is new in the box. The rebate consists of a copy of Colorista Plus from Red Giant, Barry Green HVX Book, and also the big Anton Bauer Elips battery.

PM me and it is done. YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO DO IT. The tech support for the Dual Adapter is absolutely worthless .

Thanks Noel but so far nobody has been able to help me over the phone. I just want someone to do it for me so I can see them do it.

what an odd offer/request.

tell us what you have done to try and make it work so one wouldnt repeat the same thing

I have the duel adaptor working on a Dell XP laptop. When the DA was first released, it was reported that the DA did NOT work on HP laptops. Why HP I have no idea. If you search the forum you may find the discussion on this and a potential solution.

Yeah, I remember there being an issue with HP laptops as well. Definitely call Duel and tell them your specific model number -- it may turn out that you have a fundamental hardware incompatibility there.

If so, consider the Addonics adapter, which is $69 and doesn't require any drivers to be installed (it does, of course, require the Panasonic P2 drivers, but the Addonics device itself doesn't require any drivers). It may work better for you. Then again, it may have the same incompatibility, I don't know.

I could not get it working on a macbook pro either :(

The Duel, or the Addonics? Apparently the Addonics doesn't work on Mac hardware at all, even if you run WinXP under BootCamp. But the Duel should certainly work on an MBP.

The Dual adapter. I could never get any tech support from them, just a guy on the phone who knew less about the adapter than I did. LOL

I have an Addonics that will not work with an HP (vista) laptop. Works fine in my xp equipped acer though. May be an HP issue. Addonics did say they would accept a return though, so if you wanted to try it instead...

Later,
Jason

Obviously theres some issues if its not working on a MBP. One of which is the adapter just isnt working / is faulty.

Where did you get the MBP? Apple store? Go to the apple store with your MBP, Dual adapter, p2 card with footage, software, puppydog eyes and say HELP.

Seriously in a MBP its pretty straight forward.
