Buy Royalty Free Music

I have used some free music from SonnyBoo.com, garage band, and the soundtrack pro but for suspense/horror films I'm running dry on good music. I only make films for fun, not for a living so with that in mind does anyone know where I can buy or get free royalty free music good for horror or suspense films? I know the difficult listening channels sells sounds, but I'm not sure if he sells short scores. Thanks in advance

Check out this place as well

Free for use as long as you don't enter the film into festivals. There is a licensing fee if you post it online though.

Thanks for the feedback, but I didn't really add a lot of details. I'd like to post my shorts online and to use music that would give the option for a film festival without paying a fee and filing for use. I was thinking of buying it and being able to use when I need it as long as I credit the artiest, like the guy does on the difficult listening channel website. or better yet, like sonnyboo.com where it's free. :) But please keep the suggestions coming, I'll be checking them out for sure later today.

Digital Juice licenses that way. Probably just about all "royalty free" places will have that kind of agreement. Also folks under Creative Commons licensing may work for you.

heya... I have a few 'Darker/creepy/ambient" tracks that may work work. I don't mind you using them as long as it's not for commercial purposes. Otherwise, just put my name in the credits and i'm game.

If you need suggestions, feel free to ask. I also know a few other composers to check out too who could get you started with some good musics.

Cheers!

WHOA, thanks!!! This looks like some top notch stuff!!! It's not playing for me here at work but I'll def. be checking it out tonight.

Wow!!! Very professional, I'll be book marking your page now! Quick question, I would like to be able to submit my films to indie film contest, would this still be okay to use your music? Some festivals down the road could be pretty big, as my work progressively improves... Ultimately, I like most people, would like to show at Sundance, but right now I'm not close to being there yet.

These would be great for anyone making a feature on a low budget, thanks for the tip. Do you know of any other websites like this?

Also, on the horror part I really like the music from the movie "the mothman prophecies" I think that was one of the best scored movies ever, but since the movie ran long it doesn't get much attention. I also love the angles the DP or the director came up with, it's hard to say who's idea they were. I'm rambling, anyways does anyone know a good source for some mothman type music? Thanks in advance.
