[Ryan Patrick O'Hara]

It's 'brand new'! .... And the 'finest digital video image quality available today'!

Do you think he will take my HVX as a trade in?

[ilauzirika]

maybe part of the timefest....

[Capt Quirk]

He might have been in a coma for the last 10 years...

[Barry_Green]

Probably just copied the text off of one of Canon's marketing brochures or press releases.

[Jason Adams]

The XL1 is durable, portable, and flexible, but most of all, it provides the finest digital video image quality available today.

Kill your f900s, Varicams and Reds we are gonna rock it like its 1999

I agreewith Barry, sounds like old Canon Ads but this was a great find...

[ConspiracyPenguin]

Funny thing is, the ad was crap even before all the technical errors:

Brand New Canon XL1 Professional Mini DV Camcorder. Used only 3 times. Upgraded Case. Lots of extras, Filters, batteries, Shoulder Pad, remote control.

It is brand new, but it was used three times. Hmm...

[Capt Quirk]

I can believe that. Somebody decided he needed the best camera to make the awesomest videos... then realized he didn't have a clue. Now he wants to recoup his money. Problem is, you can pick up better cams for less. I think maybe he is hoping to find somebody that doesn't know better.
