VariZoom New Crane

I think they should use a different name than the one Garrett has trademarks on and myriad patents attached to.

The pedestal / base on that jib looks too narrow for a 20' arm. I don't have any response to the head, because you cannot see it in any detail on that page or on their site.

Any way the piont is for alot leese you get a lot higher than the varizoom. By the wat just saw the pictures of the locking jionts on the snap crane. Looks cool, but not worth that kinda cash. I mean you really don't need an space air-lock door on your house do you? There could have been easier and cheaper ways to achive quick and easy setup.

Higher cheaper

Higher cheaper

Andrew,

Actually it looks like we are getting higher (about 4 more feet) but it won't be cheaper. Actually I don't know a better way to put together quicker and more efficiently but I would love for you to share.

I mean you could telescope it and bolt it together it would be cheaper but alot longer to assemble and disassemble. We have video coming also a 6 minute setup video, with no cuts, which is pretty impressive set up time.

I'm not going to believe there is a better solution until I see it. We will post the video soon. Also the SnapCrane can be assembled to a several sizes shorter.

Also every key aircraft pin has a lanyard so you won't lose it. All these details cost but it will last a long time and probably be worth more than you paid after 10 years. The mechanical stuff does not really become obsolete.
