Movies you are embarrased to admit made you cry.

I second Rudy. Not only at the end .. but when he gets into ND.

And that scene in The Patriot when the little girl yells "Daddy" to Mel Gibson as he's leaving. I'm totally embarrased about that one.

Rudy def brings up some gnarly emotions.

The scene in The Sixth Sense when they lock the little dude in the upstairs closet ?

That gets me every time.

In Schindler's List when Goeth is ordered to burn all those bodies, and people are pushing wheel barrows of dead bodies, and then suddenly, the second wheel barrow emerges in the frame, and we see the little girl in the red coat dead on the wheel barrow, and the selective red color just pops out from all that black and white.

Man! It's hard not to at least begin to weep a little bit from that scene.

And then for some reason, the scene at the beginning, with the little girl in the red coat just walking down the street, while people are getting shot. It's not the violence that's sad, just watching the little girl walking.

Has anyone ever watched a sad movie the first time, and it doesn't make you sad, but the second time it does? Weird.

Mister Spock dying behind glass in Wrath of Khan.

Bud trying to resuscitate Lindsey in The Abyss.

The preparations for the final charge in Gallipoli.

The last 15 minutes of The Mission.

"You go, we go," Backdraft.

The destruction of the Messiah in Deep Impact.

Old Yeller's death, in Old Yeller.

There are the Schindler-type movies... but to be actually EMBARRASED about? Armageddon.

People keep giving me reasons why Michael Bay is such a bad storyteller. But, man, the SACRIFICE scene with Bruce Willis, coupled with the literal happy moments of his life flashing before his eyes? Nice. Yeah, rugged, individual, heroism hits home for me.

(I feel the same way about the first nuclear explosion episode of 24, in the desert, with Jack's ex-boss. Yikes, I hope I'm not just weepy about nukes)

Yeah, I hate to say it but the Scene where Willis takes Afflek's place to blow the nuke and Affleck is on the elevator going back up into the ship, Kills me everytime. And the part where Bruce is talking to Liv Tyler before he dies gets me too. I am embarrased to say that a Michael Bay movie made my big ass cry. Basically the same scenes that get you, get me. Thanks a lot. Now I have to go to the Blue Oyster Bar.
