Movies you are embarrased to admit made you cry.

I will never live down the personal shame of knowing Look Who's Talking made me cry. :-Cry(DBG):
Anyone else got one?

Don't you realize? The next time you see sky, it'll be over another town. The next time you take a test, it'll be in some other school. Our parents, they want the best of stuff for us. But right now, they got to do what's right for them. Because it's their time. Their time! Up there! Down here, it's our time. It's our time down here. That's all over the second we ride up Troy's bucket.

Andie!!!! You GOOOOONIIEEEEE!!!!!!

Being that I live in Oregon, I've even gone to the Goonie house in Astoria. Although I have never matched up those rocks at Cannon Beach. :)

been a long time since I actually cried during a film

Bill - Mickey Rooney (made for TV), 7th grade

The scene with Gena and James in THE NOTEBOOK brought some emotion out.

When all of Mission Control stood up and cheered in Apollo 13.

(Joking)

That feels more like a warm fuzzy than a cry ? Like, did you really cry ?

Fetal position and everything ?

BILL had me lying in a closet, alone, in the dark for 3 days. No wait, that was my Dad.

nevermind.

Another is the Green Mile though I wouldn't say that I am embarrased by that. I challenge anyone to sit through that final execution dry eyed.

I'm not ashamed of crying over this one. I love the Goonies. If something makes me emotional the filmmakers did a great job and I'm never ashamed. One movie that makes me cry every single time is Bridges of Madison County. Damn that one's a tear jerker.

Oh come on, how about the Gale Sayers (Billy Dee Williams) speech at the end of Brian's Song?

Gale Sayers: [accepting the George S. Halas award] I'd like to tell you about a guy I know, a friend of mine. His name is Brian Piccolo. And he has the heart of a giant, and that rare form of courage that allows him to kid himself and his opponent, cancer. He has a mental attitude that makes me proud to have a friend who spells out the world 'courage,' 24 hours a day, every day of his life. Now you honor me by giving me this award. But I say to you here now Brian Piccolo is the man who deserves the George S. Halas award. It is mine tonight... and Brian Piccolo's tomorrow.
[Theme "Brian's Song" begins to play]
Gale Sayers: I love Brian Piccolo. And I'd like all of you to love him too. And so tonight, when you hit your knees, please ask God to love him.

The last time I teared up at a movie was The Pursuit of Happyness. I'm a parent so it got to me. Before that it was the end of Return of the King, when Aragorn says to the hobbits "You bow to no one...", and everyone bows, and...oh god...:crybaby:

The Champ was pretty gnarly.

OMG, I was almost bawling at the end of that one, thirty years ago (or whenever it was it came out). At least, I assume you're talking about the Zeffirelli remake. Many years later I saw the original version, and I was *so* disappointed; Jackie Cooper's performance of a *very* badly written climactic scene had me almost laughing.

There are many different kinds of powerful emotions, right?

(Never been fetal about anything, that I can recall.)
