Letus Ultimate on Ebay- is this for real?

It's for real, however the wait time is 4 Weeks. I think he's "presaling" tickets to the Ultimate.
 
that dude was banned from this forum, I cannot recall exactly what he did on here, I think he was posting ebay links to his own auctions, someone correct me if I am wrong, what he does is that he buys from letus and resells, and they are not authorized
 
That photo is from NAB- that much is sure.
He must end up with an auction going for more than letus will charge for it to be worth doing for him---seems dumb to buy from him.
 
LOL I just emailed the guy, just to test the waters you know, and I asked him
"why don't you use paypal I can only pay with paypal" I told him

"we don't like paypal, very slow, we always use western union it's much faster and secure"

well image that!!!!!
 
I could tell you some stories about that dude, oh man oh man... I've spoken to some folks who have had some really not good experiences by their accounts. Folks I would trust.

I don't know if Hien and co. have re-established a relationship with him or not, but last I heard at NAB, that was definitely not the case.

My own personal opinion: stay far, far away from this guy, legit or not... That dude... Oh, man. I'll shut up... I might get (allegedly) threatened with a bogus lawsuit again... or worse... :)

Wow, I remember bidding on an auction from his guy a while back, thank god i didn't meet his reserve price, sounds like a proper scam.
 
He's not really a scammer in that you don't receive the goods, it's just that he presells adapters that he doesn't have.
I needed a second extreme for a job a while back and made the mistake of buying from this guy. Once I won the auction he informed me that it would take 4-6 weeks to get it from Letus. Damn, I could have done that myself. He did pull through in the end though and got me one within a week but it took a lot of threatening.
I basically stated that he was selling something that he did not have in his possession and that is fraudulent ( ok maybe it is or isn't ) but that's the way I felt at the time.
It now seems that he's taking things to a new level with his selling of the Ultimate.
Stay well away from this guy - order from Letus. It'll cost the same or maybe less.

He may very well be the same guy, but you can't really say "Hey ebay, pull this guy's auctions because I read on a forum that he's a scammer".

Well, I guess you COULD say that, but you're not going to get any response.
 
Somebody won the auction for US $1,702.00 including FF, Mattebox and rails.

Would be a steal, but I wonder what he get´s in theat package?

And I wonder if that seller DCGEARSONLINE is somehow connected to http://www.dcgears.com/

At least the pictures in the auction are from that site.
